When the Cafe first opened its doors in the 1920's, like many Italian owned Cafes of the day, the menu featured freshly made soups, fish tea’s, home baking and of course ice cream - traditional favourites that are still on the menu today. We also offer a variety of popular choices including fresh filled panini, pizza and our own recipe lasagne, a recipe that's been in the family for over a hundred years!

We don't just offer full meals. We have a wide range of snacks, side orders, hot or cold filled rolls, fresh garden salads, baked potatoes and more.

If you fancy a quick cup of coffee, or a slow brew then we have a full selection of espresso coffees (using our distinct Italian blend, Caffè Pellini) and speciality teas. What better accompaniment than with some home made baking perhaps?

Like our regular customers, take advantage of our Coffee Club Card scheme and accumulate stamps to receive free coffee.

Why not compliment your coffee with home baking classics such as fruit slices and empire biscuits made fresh daily by Marion's magic fingers!!

See for yourself how the cafe transforms on one of our famous Italian themed nights when we offer a five course, locally sourced and freshly made dinner featuring live music from Italian duo Angela and Paolo. You can also read about our first Italian slow food night.

Well Done team Quiztopher Columbus for winning the Seaview Cafe quiz on Friday 26th February

Ever adventurous we are always looking at new ways to bring something fresh and alternative to the area. The cafe famously doubled up as Café René when the Attic players staged the play 'Allo 'Allo. Recently we hosted a Scottish Opera performance where you were serenaded as you dined. When the QE2 visited for its 40th anniversary all ice creams were on sale at 1967 prices! When Scotland played Italy in the Euro 2008 qualifier we had face painting for kids (old and young) and Fairlie Folk entertained customers with their traditional Scottish music.

How about hiring the entire venue? Put your own distinctive touch and hire the Cafe for a private function where we can tailor the menu and even the decor to suit your needs.

As a family business we like to believe that understand the meaning of the personal touch and good old fashioned service. Don’t take our word for it, come in and experience it for yourselves. We hope you enjoy your visit. Call on us again soon.

Regards and tantissime grazie,
