Themed Nights

We offer various themed evenings throughout the year including Burns Night, Valentines Night, An Evening of Opera and our popular Pizza, Pasta Quiz Nights. Be sure to check out our News and Events section.

We also have our Italian nights. On these unique occasions we pride ourselves in bringing to you a taste of Tuscany, offering fresh, locally sourced food in an intimate atmosphere all with an Italian twist of course!

Our first ITALIAN EVENING (see link for that evenings menu) took place on Saturday the 28th of May 2005. This event featured all local produce from the Garfagnana region of Tuscany, specially prepared by Fabio Nutini and Enio Pieraccini (left), both local members of the area's Slow Food Movement.

On the menu this night were delicacies as diverse as Salamino al tartufo (fresh hand made pork salame fused with locally picked wild truffles), Minestrone di farro (farmed locally, farro is an ancient robust type of wheat, which has been grown in the area for over 2000 years) to Tagliata con Insalata di Rucola e Olio d’Oliva Lucchese (not to be confused with Tagliatelle! Thin strips of succulent seasoned beef, served with rocket salad and Lucca olive oil).

These events sell out very fast, often even before going to press so we recommend early booking (see conditions below).

These events will be table service, you will be seated on arrival and greeted with a glass of prosecco.

The Italian dinners offer a five course menu, all authentic home made recipes of traditional Tuscan cuisine, complimented with live music.

Due to a small number of erroneous bookings in the past, and because of limited space, it is with regret that we must now ask for full payment in advance to secure table for each of these events.

We can hold a reservation for 24 hours. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

BYO: We also do not currently hold a drinks licence but there will be no charge for corkage if diners wish to bring their own bottle. Ice is also available.

Conditions

If your table is cancelled more than seven days prior to the event we will offer a full 100% refund.

Cancellations will be refunded to 50% if cancelled between seven and three calendar days prior to the event.

Cancellations under three days before the event will will be charged at full price, with no refund.

At the conclusion of the evening we also ask that as diners leave the premises they do so quietly for the benefit of the local neighbours.
